When will people learn that these things are not good signs. Bank of Jamaica Unviels its 5000 JMD bill as its highest currency in circulation. The secretary of boj is gonna say something along the lines of jamaica shouldn’t be surprised because the united states actually had a $1000 USD bill, and when 70% of the cash circulated in a country is its higest bills its time to create a new bill. Now i thought about it and said if 70% of the currency being circulated is your nations highest bill it simply means that your dollar isn’t worth jack. THAT is the underlying fact, therefore the creation of a new bill is like trying to carry more of the money around with you because of the little worth it has in lesser denominations.

There’s an old saying once you break a note its done. e.g (jah know i doa wah broke this manely cuz once a change it, it done.) Can you imagine when its like that for the new 5k bill, 10k bill anyone.

I not trying to be negative i just saying. Dont pass something off all nonchalant like yknow this is normal.. dont worry this is cool look @ hugh’s face on the bill, our money’s pretty, chill out. hmm anyway keep your eye out for that 50 dollar coin soon.

I was being badgered by a co-worker to watch this movie for months now and everytime I get around to doing it i find something else todo. Last night after cooking dinner with @vampnixen, I needed something to watch while I ate, And there was the dvd saying C’mon, gimmie a chance gimmi a chance. Afterlooking for slum dog millionaire without sucess i figured hmm how bad can it be.

Movie Starts out kinda slow right like hmmmm ok something for my eyes to look at but am I that interested in it.. nah not rly. Then i realize the truth behind the curtain of lies and i was just upset.. Anyway I continued to watch and  i realized the director made it his duty to emphasize the innocence of youth, Where the kids who were in a real grown up situation (the frikken genocide of the jews) seemed to be having fun and failed to understand the gravity of their situation.

There were 2 kids, 8 years of age, 1 called bruno who was the sun of the general who over see’s the jew concentration camp where the Germans used them for minor work but incenerated their bodies eventually the whole idea was to rid the world of “the jew” afterall.  The other kid was called schmoll, He was a jew who was in the concentration camp. bruno found him while exploring [ as a result of being extremely board at his new home near the concentration camp. I really dont wanna give away much but this movie is touching, disturbing and then finally sad… See it, Form your own opinion.

hey old friends. I hope i’m still welcomed in your blogosphere. Its been ages since i layed a finger on my keyboard with regard to blogging. I simply just do not have the time to anymore. However I thought i’ld drop in to show one of the latest developments in which I was involved in to some extent at The Gleaner Company. Without further delay I show yaw’ll the gleanerblogs. so you know guys always bitch about chick flick. god knows i hate em. but then i watched a walk to remember the other day.. i’ve seen like split seconds of it before changing the channel before right. however this time i just watched. it. What an amazing movie… no i didn’t cry..tough exterior is still intact. however i cant deny it was a touching movie and pretty good overall.

Losing your portabiilty is never a great feeling. However having a system that works, and is easily replacable on a component basis is very “calming” so to speak. My mind is now at ease relative to me losing mywork tools. The desktop isn’t super powerful as i was on a “fix it now” budget.

1. intel core 2 dou processor
2. 1 gig of ddr2 ram
3. everything else basically onboard
4. dvd burner

Thats about it.

Oh and a busted monitor my friend so kindly lent me to use temporarily till i can purchase a flat panel lcd of my own.

Thank God the pc came together as quickly as it did. Other wise i’ld have missed out on 2 photo gigs i did recently.

In other news. Web application development is boring me to death.. I do it now solely for the pay check at the end of the month. And i’m currently studying for linux+ certification from which i’ll pursue LPI 101 + 102. Want a couple certs worth mentioning (anyting but A+ IMHO).

I’m also still going to go to edna manley for photography classes. Never know what I’ll learn that i thought i already knew.

Driving.. Yeah I have learnt. confident in driving now. I just need to go do the stupid test and get it over with.

Work…..

Social Life: Friends are still there. we kick it on saturdays in mona, xbox 360, Rock Band 2 guitars 1 mic.. Planning on getting the drums in xmas.

The holidays - Afraid of buying too much based on the economical situation at hand. A canon 30D was my planned purchase to use for a wedding I’ll be back up shooter for in xmas. If i can pull in extra cash by way of photojobs I’ll be getting that rig for sure.

Oh as for the evil laptop. It’ll be fixed in december maybe january. I guess thats the xmas gift I’ll be getting.. well not so much as its a work tool. { also lookign on the crumpler brazillion dolar bag for my photo equipment.. finally i’ll be able to take my laptop with me with my gear without 2 bags.. IF I GET IT}

On the Health side of things I’m still going hard at P90X this is my 3rd week officially 4th unofficially. Will be moving to phase 2 next week all being well.

It will be very interesting to see how she fares out in the big show in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Your dirty muther fucker.. now you low down dirty mother fucker and i do not mean that in a shaft cool kind of way. you disgusting sniveling cheap ass peice of hardware making substandard media personal computer piece of shit company. WHAT THE FUCK MAN. So a few months ago i get a new notebook the hp dv6000. A note book i have wanted ever since i first saw it.. like a rolls royce among the media pc’s in my opinion.. but this is clearly based on looks alone it has the guts of a bycicle. The first thign to happen was the display went. I eventually got the monitor replaced. Then the wireless card stopped working. nothing i could do about that i decided i’ld just use a lan cable and call it a day. now last night I get home about to burn a cd for a best friend on booting up.. 3 beeps 1 long 2 short. What does that translate to? DEAD VIDEO ADAPTER.. FUCK YOU VERY MUCH HEWLETT PACKARD. based on the fact that the video adapter is soldered to the mother board i’m gonna have to buy a new mobo which is probably the same as buying a new notebook. In some regard i’m like fuck laptops in general cuz the design is just so stupid if one thing goes i gotta change almost everything because its all designed as 1 block soldered together except for ram of course. 

My situation at the current moment is pretty fucked up. I do free lance photography in this state i cannot post process my image. I do webdevelopment for my self I cannot work on my own projects. I’m basically cripped on my earning grounds. hp you really really fucked me in a non gay way. worse decission i ever made to date was selling my inspiron 6400 and buying the dv6000. the inspirons only problem was it had missing screws. but i’ld take missing screw over not having a fucking laptop to use anyday of the week. hp should just go bankrupt tomorrow. I dont think any one can understand how much i’m hating this company right now.

The resolutions was a macbook but after having the night to calm down i’ve decided to build a powerhouse-ish desktop and buy one of those sub  400 dollar netbooks for when i’m on the road. the powerhouse-ish pc will really be focusing on photography post processing.

will want a 22 inch monitor 20 minimum. That screen realestate really comes in handy when post processing. The processor i’m thinking a core 2 dou or at least a core dou. Memory 2 gigs and hd 250 - 500. The rest can be whatever for all i care. but desktop is the next purchase then a cheap notebook.

Never before had i seen so much lightning. no jokes.. It was like having my dslr with a shoe mounted flash at 1/128th power on full bust.. * the papparazzi flash technique *. Then of course with all that vaporized air the thunder comes as the surrounding air rushes back together. For a full half an hour my house seemed to be going crazy. lights going off and on. internet going and coming. I then decided to plug out everything for safety of my appliances and wait it out. Just as sudden as it all started, So did it end. Did anyone else experience this this weekend, Yesterday in particular. If this is the outerbands of ike then i dont want that thing anywhere near here.

I watched speed racer for the second time with a  chick last night and I’ve gotta say the movie rocks for what it is. It got everything right. The fashion The jargon, The fighting The corny / odd scenes with spritle and chim chim. Everything was done just right. It outdid the the animation in everyway possible. The race battles were pretty awesome. I thought the kid that acted as speed looked fairly close to the cartoon character as well. Good Job Wichowski Brothers.

This morning I left my house at my regular time got my regular bus grabbed a not so regular seat and then proceeded to browse strobist, zarias, A Photo Editor (APE) and twitter ( follow me ) while doing my Japanese lessons [ Currently at chapter 6 ]. the ride was confortable There was no traffic and I was making good time and would be at work by about 7:50am. 

So thought, so was it done. i was at work by 10 minutes to 8. on getting to my desk and reading the lead story of the Jamaica Gleaner - “Bruce Golding: one year in office - battling storms“ I felt the need for something to eat. Had no breakfast after all. Just some green tea. I then decided to reach for my fruits, i packed and apple and a banana in a bag and was certain i left the house with it. then i realized.. I left it on the bus :’( i had placed my gear bag and the bag with the fruits on the empty seat beside me and on getting to my stop i grabbed my gear bag and got off the bus So i had to spend $120 to buy a medium Oats Porridge this morning.. $75 worth of fruit down the drain. So upset… With my self of course, there is no one else to blame. Must not let this repeat it self.
