Phone wars are now on more than ever. Sony Ericsson with the p990 release. motorola responded with the Motorola Q and Nokia an attempt at responding with the nokia e series business phones. they really don’t compare to the competition. Sony and Motorola have outclassed nokia with in looks.. however the nokia e class phones have quite a bit of functinality rammed into them.. the only flaw is no camera except for the e70.. reason given was the phones are geared more to business users. One amazing thing about the E61 is the whopping 16m tft screen, that it uses.. thats alot of color for a pocket device.

So I went to Liquid Bunny mom’s dance show today. It was was pretty good but man some
of the sets were scary as a mofo.. Niggaz in cothes that niggaz just shouldn’t wear. I liked the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th dance pieces. they were pretty interesting. Actually had a story behind it. Nicely done aunty monica. One of em just felt like people masquerading on stage in tight clothes. Or maybe I wasn’t paying attention to see the depth inherent to the choice of clothing and the dance moves displayed. Hmm I highly doubt that. I am unable to deliver any pics with this blog post caise pics aren’t allowed to be taken.

The third skit which disturbed me a bit at first turns out to be my favourite in terms of story. A tribe. Male leader. He apparrently picks a spouce who apparently already has a lover. They both shared a short lived fling however. They are both caught and persecuted by the tribe men. The renegade male was murdered. The female’s death I was unable to determine. The ending was pretty “go big out with a bang” the
alpha male aparently a mage off some sort didn’t leave them for torment
in the after life. He raised them from the dead with a short ever so dramatic
dance. OMFG they just did thriller yeh that’s right THE THRILLER. Simply
amazing. It was perfectly done. Flawless display of choreography.Aunty monica’s a genius. It was a riveting, crowd roaringm hand clapping mouth gaping. performance. The only flaw was the glove..

balm yard the one which had the still intro was pretty intense for some
scenes. Mainly one where ot seemed some dude was being haunted by his own demons ( spiritual journey ). The balm yard mistress apparently helped him with that though. But the haunting scene was done well.

I’m not gonna reveal my secret of how I unlocked this device but man it gave me a real warm time. Funniest part of it is the owner for the qtek just called me saying, he went to devon house today he lost his cable and wireless signal and hasn’t been able to get it back since. This makes no sense, because the phone is unlocked and there is nothing more that i can do.. I’m researching the problem however. Hope I can figure something out with it. This phone could definatly be called the mother/father of smartphones but man its a real pain to the unlocker.

gprs functionalitity is weak. well for pre paid users at least. Lets see. if the gprs datastream is open the mobile phone for voice calls is rendered useless more than likely. I’ve been seeing no services sos for a few hours on my treo and wonderign what the hell was up. checked it out. everbody else’s phone was working fine. Because i had removed the “ask to connect to the internet befor it does feature” everytime my phone booted up, it automatically tried to connect, [ the outgoing data stream was opened on every boot ]. even though it never connected it opened the stream and the device was then unable to find the service provider signal. the application that was responsible for this was verichat.. nice app but its really giving me a head ache now.. i’m gonna probably uninstall it and try getting mundu, another universal/interoperable im chat client. from an enduser basis and not a techie. veri chat is really cool.

The treo is now workin fine now that i know its flaws and know how to work around it.. i need a treo 700.. i hope they fixed these problems. they need to port the 700 to gsm immediately and they need to put some wifi in the b!tch.. the sony ericsson p990’s got it so why not the treo 700 as well.

Everybody is apparently changing cell phones not necesarrily to a new model, just to one that suits them more.. sup with that… beats me. noivaj got a nokia 6670 last week, i got a treo 600, liquid got a sony ericsson p910a. this other dude, i dont know too well, he got a qtek 9090.. 0.0 the mother of smart phones i’ld call that one. Its running the windows mobile os, windows media player the works… I’m supposed to unlock that baby today but its raining and I’m not leaving my house…. Linkin got a nec e616. quad band vid camera, camera, flash the works. the thing even supports video calling so its a utms phone. Just like the latest addition to the sony ericsson line the Sony Ericsson P990 [ aka hermione I've covered this lightly a few weeks ago, when it leaked. ]

Noivaj nokia 6670 - He wanted a phone that offerred buit in theming, looked good, had at least a mega pixel camera, has a symbian os.. the 6670 works out perfect for him then. cuase it does all that and more.

Liquid Bunny - P910a - Not sure what she wanted.. just know she wanted a cool phone she definately got more than that..

Linkin - nec e616 - he’s planning to get rid of it.. its huge. the bluetooth doesn’t really work from a phone to phone basis just with a pc. which is sort of odd.

Me - treo 600 - I needed somethin more than symbian.. thats where palm came in the palm os is really great.. it crashes like hell at times though.. gotta be careful of the applications I install. The os is way faster than symbian as well. and now i can go up to what ever size mmc i can find.. i was confined to 128 mb with my p800.

No longer do i own a p800. moved on to a treo 600 and also I switched networks, from digicel to cable and wireless. cable and wireless still have a few things to iron out. on the service side. like their voice mail system.. really what is that… there’s no menu.. to set my voice recording etc…
The treo’s great.. not all fun though it has its headaches as well. the phone crashes just as much as my notebook does when i install a bad app on it. verichat has been causing me alot of pain. however i think its really my gprs connection thats causing verichat to crash. the connection isn’t that secure i’m assuming and is being fed to the devices in an intermitent manner the program keeps loosing connection and reconnecting then eventually it crashes. what sucks about it is the crash and reboot seems like it temporarily knocks out my mobile phone portion of the palm device [ treo ]…

So far I’ve had the treo for a week and I’ve almost destroyed it.. I tried flashing it to unlock it..and i screwed it. coulnd’t turn on the wireless mode so it was like a plain pda for a day. I fixed that buy getting the international firmware from palm’s website and reflashing the treo. I unlocked it shortly after though with a pack i got from a forum.. and a friend as well had sent me them through im.. if you want help unlocking your treo thats running a firmware vrsion of 3.05 or 3.05 you can drom me an email and i’ll hook you up or leave a comment i guess. I’ld rather an email though.
The reason behind me unlocking the treo was not for usage of another network provider sim but rather to test a theory I had about the phone. Everyone i spoke to with a treo except for one guy had a post paid account so they could use gprs with the device. Prepaid users could not use gprs on the treo 600. The device would not accept the network provider’s apn no matter what.. the default apn “internet” was sort of hard wired to the device.. so i figured. hmm all these people also have locked treo’s, i wonder if the apn is locked in the phone as well. so I unlocked it. popped in the sim created a new internet conection changed the apn and connected and voilla there you have it.. gprs internet on a pre paid account on cable and wireless. yah its pretty cool i know.. alot of people still dont belive me when i tell em.

Yah I’ve been gone for a while. Internets been down but i’m back now bitches….. :). I sold my p800 today and got a treo, wanted the usage of the qwerty keybaord on that phone.. I’m loving the treo so far.. seems cool enough, they got apps for the palm platform to stone wild animals with man..
Now just when i thought.. damn i’ve got a cool phone nokia had to burst my bubble. here it is the nokia 888 this nasty machine will definately revolutionize the mobile tech market as we know it..

I was at a hardware store with a friend today. Saw an axe and couldn’t help but pick it up and swing it around a bit. [ yah you guesses it I want one ]. I not sure if its a general guy thing or what but I feel like a kid in a toy store when I’m around tools especially huge hardware stores.
