Yep that is the situation. no forum at the moment. I need to raise 160 u.s dollars to get a license to run / operate vbulletin on my site i wanted to use funds earned from ads as i dont have the capital to inject into the site. but i guess i’m gonna have to throw in cash from my own pocket as well. a few members have already made donations toward reviving the forums so far we are at $17.46 (USD) hopefully we can get to 160 before the first week of january is out. Everyone misses the forums. I know i do.

Talk about a bad day. Got to Work Late. Cant Acess work Server. Cant access phpmyadmin. Then i get a phone call. “yo dog your website is down” check the url ( http://animesynergy.com ). I type it up in firefox. bam your account has been suspended. i’m like wtf. so i get in touch with my host company owner. [ doesn't know what the problem is thought it was band width but that wasn't it. i have no clue whats cuasing this problem.. ]. what the fuck am i supposed to do with that. my sites down, i’m loosing hits, and possible members. i dont like it.

Christmas came and went quickly as it came. Majority of the companies used it as a marketing/advert/promotion scheme which worked flawlessly i’m sure their’ sales went a bit through the roof. the meaning of christmas seems to be forever lost..

Animesynerg was shut down for a total of 10 hours and moved to a new stable server. no more godaddy and thier bullshit.. no more masked domain name no more frameset page loading.. God Bless the newserver. It was alot of trouble moving but it has been done. The domain remains the same http://animesynergy.com the direct path http:/jamvest…. doesn’t exist ne more.. only animesynergy.com… isn’t it great

I’ve rejoined the workforce though in my eyes not in full effect but i’m liking the hours tho. 4 hours per day for the same paycheck as the last one.. to me is an improvment. also i still have time to run AnimeSynergy.com and help administer PartySyndicate.net so all in all i haven’t signed my life away which is what my last job at cssjamaica felt like.

The AnimeSynergy story has come quite a far way now I even got it printed off, currently reading to catch up so i can make some contribution posts.. I fell behind in the story :(. you know i think its godsent each year i get a job on my birthday. last year i started at cssjamaica as a web applications developer on my birthday this year i found out i got the job at the gleaner a little later but a few days after my birthday. My first day of work was yesterday the 13th of december. So this morning my dad calls saying he’s coming over to look at my cell phone which was giving trouble to see whats up with it and he’s bring something my sister bought for me. i’m like yeh and went back to bed.about 7:00 am i get a phone call i’m at the gate. i go outside and bam on the front seat, what do i see. Two special edition anime dvd’s Ghost in the shell 2 innocence along with directors cuts and making footage. and Appleseeed limited collectors edition with bonos disc and a lot of extras and a uber cool cover yep i love my onee chan ^_^. My anime collection grows. I got one thing i know i gotta buy as soon as it touches america and thats advent children.

As of monday coming i’ll be a contract web developer for the gleaner.. nothing permanent unless i work for it.. which i will. pay isn’t much greater than what i was getting at my last place. but its something and at least i wont have to be calling the employer and hoping to get my cheque on the day i should get it or even worse getting it a motnh after it is due.. I really would rather not work than deal with that again. The gleaner is well established and fits in with my long term plans i just gotta make sure i become permanent staff there.
This weekend feels like a school weekend for me cause i gotta be refreshing my self on a few php stuff. like expressions. and i gotta be learning curl which deals with e-commerce and image manipulation with php. so i got some work ccut out for me.. this job sorta makes me feel like i’m back in college again but getting paid to learn. i love it.
