An Unplanned Alright Weekend

Monday, August 28th, 2006

I had only one thing on my mind this weekend, The development of this website for a client to be started where the client can atleast see what his website will look like. but friday night I ended up at a little Party or i’ld rather call it a get together of some sort. There were a few unexpected faces there which I really didn’t mind seeing :) goes to show you how small jamaica really is. There was food there was drinks there were beautiful women there was a vibe.

Tgif i guess was the after part jam session, which didn’t really last for long i’ld say an hour tops i actually went back to my friends house i slept for like 15 minutes then i was dragged to tgif. Which was pretty cool so i’m glad i got up and went, mudslides rule, should have bought the ultimate though.

after burning out the vibe at tgif the plan that was in the air was to go to qouad (which i dont really do) so i oppted out, Javion, Greed and I detoured and went to the village which was like a $100 dollar entry yes i’m cheap (or rather trying to conserve so ic an pick up my laptop asap). I got to village when Kathy’s group was wrapping up their session :( but i caught my favourite song of hers though “dont tell me, show me”. after here there really wasn’t much but music played by.. i dunno dj’s name for the night and i saw everybody packing up equipment and kinda got pissed cuase i saw no rock performance that i wanted to see, jonesy (from downstairs) seemed to pull a dmx at the mtv awards (said they were comming but ended up being in some other parish) so there was nothing else to look forward too i wanted to go and i’m glad i didn’t get to because this dood walked in who I’ve never seen before on the scene and as he comes in people were just scampering about like wes from limp bizkit walked in (he’s a guitarist) in no time all amps were plugged in lights were on again and then the sound check (which sounded kinda cool like i’ld listen to t hat shit like it was a song) and vibes was up in the village again. They did pretty well a friend of mine “Daniel Hew” was playin in the set poor kid is outa practise they really outshined him i forgot he was there till he played fly away by lenny kravitzs in the sound check period.

They Played seven nation army by the white stripes, and this other tune that i like but odly cant remember the name right now. They gave us a little blues too over all it was good think we rolled up out there about 3:00 Am.

skype on the pocket pc

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

I’ve been testing out a few ppc applications and so far skype is the most impressive. A perfect port of the software from desktop computing to portable (ppc).
Tested it with my friend liquid bunny made biut a 17 minute call, I had no major complaints, voice data came through in a timely manner without any interference or additional noise. The only bug was that it was kinda load and seemed to operate on a speaker phone basis. After more testing I’ll see if it is possible to take it off speaker phone.

P.S: special thanks to liquid bunny for sparing me 17 minutes to chat on skype for testing purposes.

skype address is tizzle1080 holla if you want.

You are a pirate :D

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006

I was sent this link by a friend the other day and since then I can seem to get this stupid retarded song out of my head check the link and see it for your self linkage and remember

YOU ARE A PIRATE

The eagle has landed

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006

So the dell has been delivered according to the ups tracking number that i was given, which is all good and dandy but guess what i now need $40,000 the second half of the notebook. i sold my old one for 50 paid $40k used $10k to get a wireless router to keep me during the time without a notebook connected via my mobile ppc (qtek) using wifi. now i need to find $40k and i do mean asap

my options are..

the kritik who wants me to do a party site for him and i’ve been kinda dragging my foot

and greed and the kentech who i am doing a site for but there are a lil bit of holdups (pictures of the kentech crv in a controlled environment.

the plan.. do em both and get as much money as i can.. the kritik thing is on the back burner because not only am i dragging my foot he is dragging his. i asked the fellow to email me the information / specifications of what the site should be he sent me a picture of a banner :( wtf dood send me some info and cut the bs. as for the kentech we do the photoshoot this saturday and i guess the photoshopping takes place on sunday i’ll literally go take it to my designer who i haven’t seen in months (only do internet transactions). get em cleaned up and pop em in the template i chose to use with the baddest cms since slice bread (joomla) and i think i can finish that site in the same day i start it provided i have enough coffee to keep me going.

result get my laptop back. :D

Miss jamaica world 2006 finals

Sunday, August 20th, 2006

back home at 3:00am in the morning and im 2000 dollars poorer. but that explanation comes later. click images to get larger view
the show progressed quite well i got there at about 8:30 and despiye what i thought about my apparell i saw lots of people in jeans n stuff so i would have gotten in regardless.

i am not really in a story telling mode so in reverse order it went like this

Fifth: Chantal Raymond

Fourth: Gillian Taylor

Third: Zahra McGraham

Second: Christelle harris

and miss jamaica world herself was none other than

First: Sara Lawrence

the main thing that screwed a few contestants was the questions they were asked by the judges i can only remember 1 smart reply which actually answered the question ( go lace :) ).

Me posing with last year’s miss jamaica terry

one thing i paid close attention to was the crowd support for the ladies, in that regard i honestly thought christelle was gonna dominate the competition.the whole show was now over and me and my co workers where outside in the lobby just idling and it seems majority of the girls remembered us from the chat so they all stopped 1 by 1 said hi gave us hugs and talked a lil bit, and for the first time i got the chance to meet last year’s miss jamaica Terry, who by far is one the most charismatic young woman i have ever met, simply beautiful.

Swimsuit pics of the ladies

The next thing on the agenda was the after party at terra nova. The party was okay.. nothing to really blo about lol. but i got to snap a few faces. a few of the girls never came to the party in particular the surprise was the fact that the winner Sara never should up so i got no pic with her.

At approximately 1:00 am everybody started rolling out of the tera nova but me n my friends were bored so we went to the monte carlo gaming lounge. it was kind of fun for a bit till i realized in total i lost 2000 dollars but to hell with it i had fun. it was a really event full saturday night and i have absolutely no complaints.

Girls Hanging out around by the entrance of monte carlo

I dunno why i just really like eliane alot

p.s another phenomenon i noticed last night. In all honesty the contestants were really stunning ladies however the crowd it self carried some women that could definately own the contestants if they had entered the competition themselves however thats just based on looks alone. The missjamaica audience of ladies is by far the most eyepleasing audience i’ve ever seen.

The first friendly face i saw for the night Terresha from highschool days with a friend of hers

Here are 2 extras from day 2 and day 4 of the Go-Jamaica Chat with the ladies
