i just got a new dvd player and since there is no computer to occupy my time i thought why not test it out. took it up n to my surprise what do i see DIVX VIDEO!!!!!!! so i skipped the dvd testing and dragged for a naruto dvd (eps 25 - 50) skipped to the 40’s the chuunin examination pressed play n bam xvid encoded avi video on my computer without all that messy svideo n rca audio to a computer. can u say sweet.

main thing that lets me appreciate this right now is i can get to watch my anime in the absense if my computer :D.

ASIDE: Shit lee just dropped his foot weights

back:.. so i can still keep up with my weekly anime dvd player reads cds so i wont have to put 2 eps on a dvd.. this is perfect.

just testing the news flash feature

This was by far the most stunning of the go-jamaica miss jamaica chat sessions held. It was so hard to pick a favourite for the night. it kinda started off on a bad foot yes they were extremely late think they got in about 7:30 and we ended up leaving abotu 10:00 pm as a result but it was worth it oh yeh….

Now as soon as the three walked through the door i instantly gravitated towards Lacian such a beauty in all aspects the camera loved her by far she was the most photogenic of the group i digged that wasn’t hard for me to get shots of her at all, And everybody knows that gt likes him some dark chocolate (snicker :D)
Gillian was my second pic and after really sitting and looking at her i kinda had second thoughts about giving Lacian the girl of the night. Gillains personality was really nice, she was funny handled her questions asked in the chat really well always smiling (it looked and felt genuine).

Renne was a tough case in my book, not because of anything she did or how she looked but because of a preconception i had about her, there apparently was a change (the person’s picture that was displayed on go-jamaica and on missjamaica’s website was of another contestant so everybody was looking to see that person and was kind of shocked when she didn’t show up. turns out the person in the picture actually had a problem with her leg and chose to leave the pageant.

On The flip side though she did well, she came in and was kinda quite for the fist 15 minutes of the chat which i guess is expected as it was a new environment for her, soon after it was like watching a flower bloom before you eyes, she opened up there were smiles everywhere got really good pictures of her as well.

Most of the time i was kinda oogling (staring… yeh i was unintentionally but i did) lacian she really is a beautyiful young lady past model and all she really worked the camera effortlessly. other times i was kinda getting mezmerized by Gillian yeh its obvious where my preferences lay that particular night all three ladies were beautiful though i wasjust feeling 2 over the other. However i wouldn’t be surprised if Renne Won there’s something about her that just says Miss Jamaica i cant put my finger on it but as the concept that jamaica looks for she kinda fits it.

Working at the Gleaner does have its perks it seems. The good thing about week one of no notebook is the miss jamiaca chat that has been taking place at work, I’ve stayed back late since monday the 14th of august 2006 through today (being the last day for the miss jamaica chat on go-jamaica).

Day 1: Monday i think was my favoured day of the chat despite the late arrival by the ladies 7pm when scheduled for 6pm, Sara was as good a personality as i thought she would be. A personality that took me by surprise was Elaine she really just stood out I like her :). The ladies from day one were really vibrant people, refreshing personalities just couldn’t get enough of em. pictures were taken by me well not really everybody manned the camera (a nikon coolpix 8mp, 10x optical zoom beast).
Day 2: Tuesday proceeded well, everything happened as planned except they where really late a whole hour :@ . The ladies arrived on time and the chat got started immediately Elaine decided to grace us with her presence on the second day, she partcipated in the chat but as a guest and not as one of the four. On This night Zahra dominated the camera..yes there was camera bias it was obvious i’m so ashamed :(. However She was not necessarily my favourite for the night was probably Tiffanie The Green Eye’s got me man, she had a nice build too I liked

Day 3: Wednesday’s chat got started kinda late but not that late the usual chatting nobody from the previous day came back guess they couldn’t or didn’t feel to. From this particular batch I think i was feeling Mishka the most. She had a really captivating smile, Catching it on camera was another story though. My second pic from wednesday’s girls would probably be a battle between Christelle and Leontre and i think i’m leaning more to Leontre to be honest.

Day 4: hasn’t occured as yet so i’ll update in another blog either tonight from my phone or tomorrow at “a computer”

hmm its been pretty wierd the past couple of days, no notebook to go home and do anywork on at all. all i got is msn and a browser by way of the qtek 9090 i got some ebooks i really wanna read. i got some development frame works i’m really interested in testing out esp ruby on raills which seems to be one of the best things out there at the moment, i’m very interested in seeing it in action who knows i might just port all my applications to the ruby frame work which would include me re-writing the Gleaner Online Business Directory in ruby just for testing if i grasped ruby enough to use it in a large scale application.

Life isn’t that bad so far without a computer it seems

So the move has been made it is permanent and i will delete my blogger account tomorrow and commence modding of my new wordpress blog :D. i love the theme i’ve decided on going with. i need to figure out my custom banner soon, where its gonna go etc…

So i bought a stylus bay way off enigma and now i cant even use it.. the damn thing was too small for the qtek and kept falling out i put some tape on it one complete circle around the stylus right. bam it fit. then i was like hmm lemme take offf half of it cuase it really too tight, so i ripped that off threw it away got a new piece of tape put half then cut it.. half around the stylus. put it in it went in with no force then i tried to take it off.

cant get out dammit what am i gonna do. held the top of it and yanked the tip came off in my hand (the stylus is a pen as well and thats how you get to the pen). so all i got is a lil ball point pen sticking out of my qtek 9090. what do i do after staring at it me and a friend get a pliers and we yanking at it. the ball of the piont falls out there’s ink everywhere on my qtek finally the thing comes out i clean up my qtek its good as new. i take the ink out of the cylinder of the stylus and used it it worked fine about 2 days later the stylus just up and went, where i dunno so i had ot revert to using the original stylus tha tcame with the phone which was kind of bent out of shape but worked.

the occurence with the stylus i bought from enigma was like 1 month ago and the orignal served me well in that time period this morning i got up and took up my stulus i realize the grip is in my hand the lower half of the stylus is on my bed. i guess i fell asleep on msn with the qtek and the stylus fell on the bed and a couple rolls etc and its done.. no i have no stylus and have to be using random stuff, pencovers, my finger etc. thank god i bougth a screen protector for the qtek so the screen isn’t being damaged at all with my odd choices for temporary stylus’s

k so i made the move n sold my trustworthy dell inspiron 6000…. moment of silence for the lost soldier.

k the replacement will be a e1605 or a inspiron 6400 really cant wait till it gets here so i can begin the creation of my dedicated ubuntu notebook. might give windows 10 gigs.. might.

for the time being my qtek 9090 will be pushed to the limit its gonna have to do everything and has been doing pretty well so far, browsing instant messaging putty ssh sessions and soon ftp app will be installed. the downside is i cant watch anime for 3 weeks as i have no pc this kinda bytes

planning on buying a wireless router today so i can use the qtek with internet at home with some freedom, hope i get one at a reasonable price.

my thumbs kinda hurt right now so i’m done blogging for now..

So about a night or 2 ago we all got an email at work (well my department) stating that there’s a punctuality issue .. yeh i’m guilty for being late A WHOLE LOT. so i’ve taken measures. its day 2 of the early morning saga, my body feels like its shutting down when it gets to 12 - 1 pm but i figure i’ll adjust soon enough.

so they changed the by and sell section. yknow fine but really this gay behaviour of deleting the thread kinda annoying. so someone selling soemthing liek 2 weeks later they post it again.. delete 1 nuh.. nooo the fool them delte both of them ore time so even if you look back for 2 weeks nothing.. so annoying.. i cant wait till bartergeek is up and running.
