move over firefox.. you have been flopped by flock said captain spock
not really spock said nothing like that, it sounds more like something that captain kurt (william shatnerwould say) was it kirk or kurt.. w/e… anyway on with this post.. its about a new browser that i came accross this morning.. its called flock - the social browser.
Realy interesting peice of software, it uses the same extensions as firefox and has a few more features to offer like direct gallery integration with blogs / websites where you can just drag and drop images instead of going ot the site to upload. kinda interesting would you say.. i doubt they have a linux version in repositories as yet if i dont feel like installing from source i wont cause generally i could’t install extensions with firefox from src installs, so no flocking for me.. but the fox does me good so i dont mind…

Hey Taylor,
We do have a linux version for download, but we’re not listed in many repositories that I know of yet. We’re hoping to get in more once we hit 1.0 later this fall.

well Will i installed it on my work terminal where i run xp.. and i gotta say.. well done.. i was uploading to my flicker account from my browser which saves me alot of time when blogging cuase i use flicker as you can see from my lil flicker badge there on the right. I’m impressed. Flock on.you need to come up with flock buttons so i can sport em on my blog and site. I was kinda say i’ld never switch from firefox but flock is kinda like firefox on steriods at the moment cant argue with that.

Tried Flock. It’s awesome. And it’s Kirk by the way.
