my Political rant.. as everybody elses it just goes off into the wind
call mme a grumpy old fool but. resuming hanging still wont help us. our problem is way bigger than that. it starts one place the top of the f%cking chian.. pliticians those that are in charge are responsible for the bullshit thats going on. yes crime and voilence runs rampan it jamaica however why did the criminal turn to a gun.
in jamaica the options for quite a high percentage of the youth today is.
a. be gay with those powerful fags in the industry and they pay your way though life
b. try to go to school if you can afford it (with no support whatsover if you dont come from a middle class / upper middleclass or upper class family) because there is no governing body for support in that department. if that fails they generally turn to crime and violence.
c. skill the try to go to sschool which they generally do because it always leads to one resolve.. crime and violence.
crime and violence might not be as easy as we think.. it work. its risky and if those same people had better living conditions. then maybe.. just maybe our country wouldn’t be in such a dire situation..
continuing as we are now, Jamaica has no future. not a bad future but none, zilch it is non existent.
a. there are too many people in parliament, this whole honerable mr blah blah blah fuckry needs to go. your a civil cervant.. cut the fucking bullshit. and do your job.
b. there needs to be policies where those fuckers can be fired. Prime minister x y ou were doing a bad job.. your fired. someone else in parliament. maybe a vp take over.
c. there needs to be policies or rather a governing body to watch what the bitches are doing and lay the smack down (legaly) when they the politcal scandals are ran.. example trafigura.. you know that money has yet to be returned right.. and as usual in this island it is just forgoton.. all the noise that was made has been silenced by just the notion from the receiving party of the check. “we will send the money back.”. we did no follow up at all.
d. my advice is you vote next election. if that fails then.. pack your bags and leave this Rotten place. but before you do that..

I agree. The corruption at the top needs to be dealt with first before any serious attempt at curbing the crime problem can be made. And good education has to be attainable to everyone.

You make some very good points. I disagree with:
Statement of middle class. This does not exist in Jamaica anymore. You’re either upper class (rich) or lower class (poor).
Loans are accessible from the Student Loan Bureau. I know for a fact that if you are from a home with at least one person working, you will not qualify for the loan. So, it can be had by the poor.
Truth is, as you said, no one wants to go to school anymore or learn a trade or skill. It’s all about getting rich quick and there are only 2 ways to do that: win the lotto or crime and violence and since winning the lotto harder, crime & violence wins out in the end.
As bad as America is, I respect their treatment of political figures whose conduct is unbecoming of a leader. That’s the problem in Ja. No accountability for anything and we the poor people just continue to pay through our ass.
When will we learn??
