I doubt freeing up the gun would do much to make things better. I can just imagine a shootout happening everytime a robbery is attempted, and nuff people shooting up one another for fender benders and the neighbors dog taking a dump on their lawn. It ruff still! I'm advocating for that for some years now but nobody not listening. Limit the number of weapons each person can own and the type I guess and just let them go. Instead of Dodge City we can have Kingston Dodge City. Seriously though the law isn't able to protect us then they need to allow us to protect ourselves.
