The Flair magazine in the gleaner had a section.. Designs for real women. So after seeing the picture i started to question what is “real”.. what is this “real” we speak of. What does it entail, how does one act “real”. There’s no such thing as “real” is there. Because we all act based on socialization.. mental and behavioral programming passed down from our elders.
That and the fact that they basically took a fashion idea from one of the dumbest movies i ever saw in my entire life.. “Zoolander” staring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. Derrick Zoolander (Ben Stiller) was chosen by Mugato to be the top model for his next fashion line “Derilicke” which really was just garbage put together to look like clothes.. with alll that said take a look at this chick looking somewhat sexy in garbage bags.
“real huh..” yeah… I can feel the realness of her apparel… (dumb ass fashion designers)

the real stuff excludes the stuff that’s fake. but fashion is subjective. it changes often and has no real logic to it like women. its about feelings. how does the garbage bag make you feel? ask a woman how her clothes make her feel the next time you see one in the early morning. tally the answers and report back.

So I was forced by zee blogowner to comment on what owen said. Why? I dont know… Im not even gonna get paid to comment. Keh.. sad.
Should I assume that my opinion is highly valued by zee blogowner? Or was I the only unfortunate female on his chat that was online at the moment?
Anywho… if you take me as an example.. im real (i hope), and Im female (last time I checked)… but I would not wear a garbage bag… unless I was super broke and a scandal bag was all I found.. granted if I also still had my dignity.. else I would just go nude.
But if that is what real women wear.. then does that mean I am not a real woman? Maybe. For I do not follow fashion and feel most comfortable wearing men clothes aka tshirt and jeans.
As I told zee blogowner… I am not like other females… I hate shopping and I spend more money on books than on clothes and shoes (which only gets bought once a year minus for special occasions). And then I hardly ever wear skirts and dresses… so I told him I was the wrong female to ask.
But then I looked at it from another POV… maybe they mean that real women can make anything look good.. even said garbage bag. Erm.. running out of crap to say.
As for how my clothes make me feel.. I guess they make me feel comfortable O_o
I dont feel comfortable wearing a piece of cloth only covering the bare essentials… I like wearing shirts with sleeves (with the occaisonally cleavage showing) and pants that go past me knees. o_O
The most common compliments I get from guys is that I look cool… cause I dont dress to impress anyone else but myself. *chatting crap*
Um… I believe that females who follow fashion closely are rather fickle… if what they wear is detremined by whats considered “The IT thing” at the moment.
Ok me done ramble. Satisfied now blogmaster??
