the old nokia 6111 drama

I had a nokia 6111 a few months back. a neat little phone. slider camera video recorder. nice. very sleek phone. It had a flaw though nokia built the phone stupid. The slider springs can easily cut the ribbon that attaches the screen to the board. That is exactly what happened to mine and quite alot of other people.

Anyway i ordered a replacement ribbon from ebay all the way from china. I thought i was ripped off because 2 months had past and I hadn’t gotten the damn thing. 3 maybe 4 months later i get a package.. the stupid ribbon. I still have the hpoen in a ziplock  bag but its missing a part that i sold (the friggin screen). How upsetting. (Roaaaaawwwrrr).

but its fine i still plan to sell it as parts. But lesson learn from all this dont buy it from china unless you got all the time in the world
