Things aren’t that great for the folks in the dvd business in jamaica. Bootlegging has gone to limits that it has never seen before. Everybody is selling illegal dvds. On my way to work this morning i counted 11 dvd vendors on the street side each having what looked like over 200 dvd’s thats approximately 2200 illegal dvd movies for sale. These guys are selling for 100 - 150 per copy. They are seriously nawing their way at the profits of the industry.

Proof, ViewersChoice2000 is now a dead entity. The company closed down shop and sold out all its dvd’s in house. Today is the final day of the sale. I copped a crap load of anime from them last week saturday :).

The RIAA might really be making a trip to us soon. But thats right after they’re finished with the pirate bay captain.

This kid in mandeville got the crap beat out of him for being gay. Found the story on the new york times. It paints a not so great picture of the island. makes us sound barbaric in some sense but I mean if you dont condone something you just dont condone it. I’m not sure how I feel about the situation. I know want no part of the homo sexual thing… However it might and probably will negatively affect the island in terms of business, and how the people are viewed.

I think its time that they create a body detached from hollywood and its madness who validates if a movie can or should be made. The reason for my outrageous request is.. Cranked 2 High Voltage. Why in the world man.. Like seriously I saw jason stateham fall from a plane and die.. Why is there a part two staring… you guess it Jason Stateham. This is madness and it needs to be stopped.

Oh and i’m a fan of martialarts movies as well but the asian flicks with no real story line whatso ever and nothing but cocol fighting scenes which get annoying cuz of slow motion excessive usage.. among other things should stop as well. case in point the duel.. and i saw this recent one called silver halk..

No.. I’ll start this by saying Damn i hate musicals. Then I”ll say Sweeny todd was exactly what that.. a musical. And i’ll go on to say I absolutely llove the movie, will probably get the dvd, and already have the soundtrack on my ipod, and my htc. Johny Depp and Timburton just have this director / writer to actor relationship like no other duo.. Tim burton litterally seems to write movies specifically with johnny depp in mind as the lead character. In one of my favourite scenes / songs in the movie i then realized sweeny todd could have been nobody else but johnny depp. See video below:

Yeah the man was singing to his precious friend the blade of desctruction. The movie is pretty good dispite my horrible expectations of it. Give it a watch.

I’m just kidding. Its apparently a bad boy production. Seems diddy’s using some of that smarts. Now the japanese have some competition in this arena cause i know they do this with some of ding dong’s dances. featuring ding dong him self of course.

Now diddy’s in the business pushing ele’s dance’s and his tunes. along with it. I woudln’t be surprised if ele becomes the new billi blanks in that area. lol.. wow. ele never seizes to amazzsssssse (ele style) me.

no long talking but wtf has the music industry been reduced to.. There’s real talent out there that wish they could get a deal and cant manage to meet the right people or get that break they need.. but david hasslehoff gets a music video.. Damn yo.. its a sad sad world.

I’m not all hyped up on the whole black man for president thing. I could care less as long as who’s in power does what theys hould do right… so w/e.. secondly i’m not american and i guess my voice really doesn’t count. However Obama’s gonna win yo. Unless hilary can like cry tears that cure cancer or something to that effect its over for her. Take a look at this vid You may have already seen it.

At the end of the day yo the entertainment industry got a grip on the world like nothing else does. The young adults can easily be swayed into voting for obama through this video. No it isn’t screaming vote obama. but its pushing a message delivered by obama in a speech.. which is indirect support of him by artists such as will i am of black eyed peas, common and john ledgend all prominent african american musician with a pretty decent career. Good luck hilary. I take no sides on this remember i said it above i’m not even american so my voices doesn’t count i’m just sayin….
