Generally I’m not one to blog about anime. but i just saw a trailer for .hack gu the movie and omfg this shit could be great. Its been a while since a good cg movie anime, Last one being final fantasy advent children.. It cant possibly llive up to that hype cause advent children was like years of hype until deliver but the flick looks really good fromt he trailer. the story line is basically

Project G.U a special team formed within the C.C corporation apparently a control mechanism for anomolies which takeplace in the online mmorpg. Currently there are alot of online killings which is a real problem. From the days of hacksign this would generally passover in the realworld meaning the people would dissapear or die there too. There have been 110 confirmed victims todate in the G.U.

I guess the movie is about how they stop this.. I saw a person that reminded me of tsukasa from hack sign.. hope its him or they pay some homage to hack sign.. thats where it all began man.. here are a few screenies

The big boss on campus in the land of 3d rendered / cgi fight animation is back with another stellar video.. haloid toook the internet by storm and dead fantasy seems to be racking up the same kind of buzz. Dont even try to compare them they are both in different elements. Monty.. yeah you .. start doing movies man.. if you dont get a job in the game development market for making and directing fight sequences… then the world truely is an unfair place. without further delay

I did this like 3 times. each time when i was almost finished i clicked something accidentally and lost the entire path i just mapped out with the pen tool. Gimp isn’t as fancy as photoshop so i couldn’t get back the path after i lost it. Either that or I’m just an inexperienced gimp user.. It could be either one, i feel no shame in saying i’m a gimp surface user (noob). Anyway  I did it over and over and over untill i finally got it done. selected from path and inverted to get exactly what i wanted. I then added a grey scale over the layer to give it a darker look as the original was reallly bright and tada.. here is the product of masane aka masa-mune of the anime witchcblade. Vectoring is quite fun however it seems I have much to learn as this doesn’t look as good as it could have.. however this isn’t vectored from a scan but from a carefully taken screenshot of a witchblade episode.

Anime Synergy kept anime trading day 6.3 on saturday the 26 of may. Kept at greeds house. The event went well. The directions were posted on anime synergy by way of microsoft paint compositions done by greed (the host of the wonderful event). The day consisted of all the basic otaku needs. Video games, Manga, and more anime than you can shake a stick at. It would be scary to try and imagine the amount that was there in volumes of Terabytes much less Gigs.

Where gaming is concerned there’s this kid called andrew_005 if you see him do not play him in streetfighter he will make your mom stay at home and feel pain. Psp Games were played, I demolished blq in guilty gear xx but it was an unfair match as i’m a GGX veteran and he’s a noob. The plasma tv really made the 360 shine.. I’m thinking of getting my self a plasma ere thinig looks better on an hd plasma television.

Trading took place from the hours of 12 to 10pm we then left for tgif where ere one stuffed their faces. chatted for about an hour then departed to their individual homes at about 1 maybe 2pm

its been a week adn 3 days.. technically 2 (will explain) since i’ve quit being late for work. Made a promise to my self that I intend to keep. Its really difficult being early when you live in portmore and you dont own a car to be honest, because the public transportation from there into town is disgusting. I’m sure you’ve heard many rants from me regarding that.. just search jutc and i’m sure you’ll pull up something with me cussing them n their momas and thei’r momaz momaz….

Yesterday i kinda messed up insteaed of waking up 5:30 i got up 6:10 my cellphone was off hence no alarm. I pull a sprint (prepare for work) dash to the bustop got out there roughly 7Am. Then began the waiting game. This game is only for the strong you stand under a shed like structure which they call… “a bus stop” and you wait untill one of the mechanical beasts come you put your hand out they stop and you board and pay for transport to destination….  the waiting game has no time frame it can start and stop at any point in the time space continuum. Yesterday i waited for nearly 1 hr with no success at boarding one of the mechanical beasts they call a ‘bus’. Intotal only 2 passed for my destination. One of premium standards.. huge cushy seats, air conditioning and no standing passengers…. or so it should be yesterday it had a standing row so obviously it didn’t stop at my bus stop they just drove pass.. i wouldn’t have taken it anyway because really standing in a bus.. and paying $100 for it doesn’t make sense.

After 1hr of the waiting game i made a phone call to the friend at work n asked her to inform my supervisor in not so many words that i’m not comming in today.. i turned around.. and screamed in side my self FUCK JUTC then walked home.

I would have been late if i wen tto work which would have broken my promise to my self so i guess all in all i just wasn’t supposed to go to work:)

After watching heroes i proceeded to watch an old movie i acquired recently called Scanners. Sci-Fi based flick i remember loving but being creeped out by as a kid.. watching it yesterday made me think wtf.. they called this a movie.. they call that special effects… But for such an old movie it must a been good cause i watched it from start to end.

After scanners I proceeded to watch naruto movie 3.. Wasnt’ bad.. But its just another naruto movie if you know what i mean..

1. get assigned a mission by the hokage
2. Get to your misson
3. Protect the person at all cost
4. get your ass kicked by the enemy
5. naruto goes fox mode
6. kakashi does his.. sharingan thing
7. naruto uses a rasengan to defeat the enemy boss   ( this reminds me of goku and the spirit bomb)
8. Movie over

while watching all these movies i was moving animesynergy accross to its new server.. was elbow deep in sql queries.. had to move the tables manually :(.. but its finaly done and the site is back up. Photoja.net should follow suit today.

Another of the intermitent stay home weekends. Odd I guess but it wasn’t too bad. Felt kinda nostalgic to be honest Watched some anime that i used to watch as a kid running home to the tv after school, Gundam Wing endless waltz, played some psp and watched some more anime. There was this line from Endless Waltz that was so beautiful.. sad but true and beautiful.

Peace Revolution and War, the worlds destined endless waltz. We see this waltz performed probably once in our lifetime but our kids will live to see it once and thier kids and so on. moving on

Seeing Heero and the gang kicking ass and taking names gave me the same thrill as it gave me the first time watching it. Wing Zero, DeathScythe, Heavy Arms, Sandrock and the misguided Nataku.. along with some help from an old enemy Talgeese. Endless waltz gets 5 stars from me

I watched full metal panic I LAUGHED TILL I FRACTURED MY SPLEEN.. yeh… its that funny definatly worth the watch.

I watched witch hunter robin.. This one i loved.. I can’t help but be sympathetic to robin.. she’s so innocent. The ending i didn’t mind even though it left it open to speculation i’m prettys ure that robin and amon didn’t die.

Watched the tenjou tenge ova’s Man aya and maya natsume too hot for them own good. That was also a nostalgic kinda vibe.. brought back some memories. Saw nagi souchirou use the black dragon transformation technique…. WICKEDLY SICK MAN :).

This now was out of pure boredom.. I watched barnyard.. to my surprise it wasn’t that bad but.. I’m kinda ashamed that I watched it in the first place.. that kind of boredom should happen to no one.

I did some paper work for animesynergy. I’m thinking of doing something to monetize the site a bit.. Wrote up this proposal for someone will let you know if that went positive or not.. Wish me luck.

Also a friend of mine.. the windows enthusiast Matt is giving ubuntu linux an attempt. after a 3 day trail and error phase of silly mistakes which could happen to anyone one he’s finally up and running with beryl and all and just a few seconds ago he completed his media support by installing the restricted formats and win32codecs. Im honestly proud. He agrees that linux is fun to play with.. whcih is what i think keeps me to the os than using windows. even though things are more difficult I prefer it this way… I dont get bored. I patiently await to hear his feed back and feelings about linux after a first hand experience.. I also impatiently await the release of the next distribution of ubuntu linux fiesty fawn.

p.s.. I finished this psp game i been playing for sooooo long. 300 march to glory it seems i took so long because my psp joystick is going.. so leonidas was always taking a stroll on his own.. or fighting the direction i want him to walk in.. :(.. here’s a review 300 match to glory for psp.  I loved it every minute of it.

yeh.. the one thing in life i can probably always count on to be there when i need it music. hmm maybe anime too. really sad when you think about it. so i got a few albums lately of the set i’m hooked on incubus’s light grenades and panic at the disco a fever you cant sweat out.

fall out boy is kinda up there in my most played songs right now too. and i’m still jamming to a little audio slave (revelations) every now and then.. the ipod shuffle my sister gave me definatly came in handy (thanks onie chan). I gave my cousin the iriver t30.. so he’s using that. i’m not sure if i’m gonna sell it cause he looks so happy with it.. so bleh he can keep it i guess.

on the anime side of things.  i’ve been watching getbackers.. an anime i got a while back at animesynergy.com’s anime trading day 2 or 3 i think.. but never really got around to watching it. its pretty interesting but not enough to keep me up till 3 in the morning watching.. which is good i guess so i can wake up in the morning ot go to work :D.  kiba is also getting very interesting too so is deathnote. I currently have no internet at home so i’m behind in most of my series. however i’ll be on a 3mb connection for the weekend so i’ll pull down everything i can to bring my self as up to date as possible.
hmm on the matter of me.. there really isn’t that much to speak of. pay day is a week away. i’m flat out broke at the moment from making tshirts for my website. long story dont wanna explain. my needs + wants for the christmas total a wopping $128,000, and thats excluding some things that i really wanted to get to tell you the truth like my psp :’(.. anyway..

I plan to do a pimp my room project. but i’m not so sure how much pimping will actually occur based off cash restraints that must be implemented. I have school in january so thats a gay ass school fee that i’ll have to deal with. might end up paying it monthly instead of all at once.

the pimp my room project will probably start out with painting and mounting my television on the wall. thinking of buying a new bed as well *wink wink*. i kid.. but its apart of the project. thats all i think i might do for the moment untill i see the extra cash to do more.

might also buy a little surround sound setup for the tele for when i watch my anime and movies :D. I need help picking colors for the room so gimmi some suggestion if anything. i’m going with a flat color i dont really like the look of glossy paint when light hits it. and i’m kinda going for a cool color.. kinda like web 2.0 cool colors. light / bright / cool colors. suh suggest away.
