Bored on friday afternoon when a friend hits me up and says yow Petrus kathrine’s performing tonight. Sadly i got there late into petrus’s performance :(.. anyway here goes.
When I arrived the show was already underway the performing group Petrus were a few performances into their set, and the patrons were loving it. The crowd went wild at the end of every song. Almost every song Petrus did was original with i think one cover in the mix. With two more songs to go by ‘insert ground name here’ the next performance was announced, kathy with mathew couch and ‘guy with daniels guitar’ playing guitar. X on the drums and x on bass.

I can distinctively remember an old led zeplin song whole lotta love kathy covered along with when doves cry, no ordinary love from sade and another song which I can’t remember the name of but digged non the less. Kat brok for like 10 minutes then resumed her set. She rocked and she rocked hard, Wish i took video clips but all i got is pictures take a look your self..

(p.s) that girl is hard to get shots of.. she constantly moving on stage, which is good cause her performance would suck otherwise.

yeh.. the one thing in life i can probably always count on to be there when i need it music. hmm maybe anime too. really sad when you think about it. so i got a few albums lately of the set i’m hooked on incubus’s light grenades and panic at the disco a fever you cant sweat out.

from incubus’s light grenade anna molly has me in a daze.. i need to lean to play that song some day.. sigh… wont even go down the road of my sad tale of learning to play the guitar.

fall out boy is kinda up there in my most played songs right now too. and i’m still jamming to a little audio slave (revelations) every now and then.. the ipod shuffle my sister gave me definatly came in handy (thanks onie chan). I gave my cousin the iriver t30.. so he’s using that. i’m not sure if i’m gonna sell it cause he looks so happy with it.. so bleh he can keep it i guess.

on the anime side of things.  i’ve been watching getbackers.. an anime i got a while back at animesynergy.com’s anime trading day 2 or 3 i think.. but never really got around to watching it. its pretty interesting but not enough to keep me up till 3 in the morning watching.. which is good i guess so i can wake up in the morning ot go to work :D.  kiba is also getting very interesting too so is deathnote. I currently have no internet at home so i’m behind in most of my series. however i’ll be on a 3mb connection for the weekend so i’ll pull down everything i can to bring my self as up to date as possible.
hmm on the matter of me.. there really isn’t that much to speak of. pay day is a week away. i’m flat out broke at the moment from making tshirts for my website. long story dont wanna explain. my needs + wants for the christmas total a wopping $128,000, and thats excluding some things that i really wanted to get to tell you the truth like my psp :’(.. anyway..

I plan to do a pimp my room project. but i’m not so sure how much pimping will actually occur based off cash restraints that must be implemented. I have school in january so thats a gay ass school fee that i’ll have to deal with. might end up paying it monthly instead of all at once.

the pimp my room project will probably start out with painting and mounting my television on the wall. thinking of buying a new bed as well *wink wink*. i kid.. but its apart of the project. thats all i think i might do for the moment untill i see the extra cash to do more.

might also buy a little surround sound setup for the tele for when i watch my anime and movies :D. I need help picking colors for the room so gimmi some suggestion if anything. i’m going with a flat color i dont really like the look of glossy paint when light hits it. and i’m kinda going for a cool color.. kinda like web 2.0 cool colors. light / bright / cool colors. suh suggest away.

So this morning on my way to work pumping some tunes on my trusty iriver T30 i sorta drifted off while listening to an incubus song which was designed to do just that make you drift off. song is Aqeous Transmission . So i’m there and i start thinking bout the kinda music i generally listen to and cannibus just popped up in my mind.. whatever happen to that dude, Nobody used to spit nothing hard core like cani could, i mean people say LL cool J beat him the the age old battle they had but i disagree and just dont see how that could be possible. Canibus lyrics were alien like at the time… just wayyyyyy ahead of its time.

I always used to wonder why he could get a break as well and i think i figured it out now.. He’s stuck in one category of rap and only resepcted for that Battle rap.. nobody really cares to hear a story from canibus, they just want him stabbing rappers in the ears lyric after lyric till they die. The best canibus album ever made in hsitory was 2000bc and it was battle tune after battle tune after battle tune. one of the coolest song was definatly the 5 minutes of freestyle cani threw down on 100 bars.. I give mad props to this mc.. and just wondering where the hell is he? wonder what he’s doing with his talent now.. ohh and the nigga’s jamaican too.. mad talent from yaad.
