The highlight of my weekend was definitely animesynergy dinner number 5. Friday was a real bitch though cause some retarded airjamaica flight delay caused me to not get my htc tytn read rcp’s blog for more on that. I did get my crumpler 6 million dollar bag and my canon 50 mm wide aperature lens though. :). So after the realization that I wont get my phone I quickly tried to forget about it and psych myself up for the dinner on saturday at 3pm at East Japanese Restaurant at market place. I know lady spice would have probably loved it, well the food and the decor my goofy friends company i’m not so sure of though.

fst forward to saturday. I got there casually late about 3:30. there were already 8 animesynergy members there and 3 guests of members. The food was just rolling in when i got there. ex member Greed order a sushi ship. that was the most memorable item served to be honest.. thing was huge. Uhh.. I got me salmon rolls which tasted like it had a wasabi center and Futamaki Rolls (noice), the saki was great and served in such cool manaer. the lil bucket looking thing of ice with bambo as the sake bottles.. with the little white cups.. Its weak though.. A really weak drink I dont know how anyone can get drunk off that. I also had a drink called brain hemorage that kinda had some strength but it didn’t live up to its name. Desert was chocolate cake for most people but for me it was tempura icecream.. lovely stuff.. Japanese quisine rocks man.. we were there eating, drinking and chatting it up for like 3 hours. After which most of us left and headed up to killasirroms house n played cards, xbox, watch anime, youtubed and laugh at the britney spears crazy guy and talk bullshit till like 3 in the morning.

Great event. Probably the best dinner so far. Everybody was really nice, Well dressed, well mannered and optimistic about the food.

I’ve noticed this a long time ago but i think I’ve been in denial and I put alot of effor into not believing or realizing it. However sometimes no matter how hard you hide from the truth it eventually catches up to you. Techies are a thing of the past. The net is overran by facebook junkies and core morons that really dont know much about the net and its history or anything about anything at all.

Now you can blame em. Ignorance is ignorance attack it at its source. Where is that. I’m not sure. However social networking sites are killing the internet and poisoning the the brains of the youngings coming up. God bless places like system n hakk5 and revision3 and so on. keep up the good work. Fight the good fight of internet noobness. Freeing as many minds as you possibly can.

Seems the big event is over. Its 11:48pm I’m in my cubicle looking around at the empty office. my 2 co-workers out of sight. my supervisor and manager in their respective offices. Just me and my cubicle. The gun shots seem to have faded and i patiently wait to go home in the morning.

Ironically and sadly to add. The hawk eye team that came to escort us home heard that a part of their teeam got attacked at heroes circle while heading to the gleaner. They then went out to assist and were also shot up. At that point in time i realized hmm i’m not heading home am I.

I just sold my qtek like 1hr ago.. I’m now phoneless.. And trying to figure out what i’m gonna get. Ideally I’ld want a tytn.. cause thats the upgrade to the 9100 but.. 35k on a cellphone i fucking think not. thats crazy talk.. the only reason i got the 9100 in the first place is because i got a 30k phone for 25k.. So now i need to find a really great priced replacement for the qtek 9100.

Canonical opened an internet store. I can see my money burning already. I want 2 black ubuntu tshirts, 1 hoody sweat shirt. and that ubuntu keyknob. Do need them. Absolutely not.. but i want em non the less and you damn skippy i’m gonna get it. Other swag on the internet that I want would come from joomla They got a really nice laptop bag I’ve been eyeing. Firefox they got a realy nice messenger bag I’ve been eyeing. Crumpler I need a bag from em that can carry my cam the 2 lenss + the other one i’m about to buy… Dollar dollar bills just on fire… :(.

I’m afraid to do the math on them stuff that i want… What I know i’ld get is probably the crumpler and the mozilla ogio bag. 1 ubuntu tshirt 1 hoody. thats it. no joomla bag. no keynob :(.. but even so its still pricy as hell.

As of late.. I have been really annoyed by this character Trait in a few people I know. Generally The excuse for people who suffer from the disease or commit the sin is.. “I cant”, “I dont like to” then appened the action to whatever it is they’re lazy towards doing… You may say.. sometimes people genuinely cant achieve a particular thing.. WRONG.. they cant do it because they’re to lazy to keep trying.

It disgusts me. I dont know how else to say it,, but it really irks me,, especially when i see things done.. and not done properly, oh and not because of lack of knowledge relative to subject matter or lack of abilty.  BUT GOD DAM LAZINESS MAN.. JUST GENUINE DISGUSTING LAZINESS. IT NEEDS TO STOP. People cant expect to achieve anything with this kind of characteristic traits and more outrightly said FLAWS. I’m speaking to my self when typing this when it comes to certain things.

Anybody in business with me or intends to do business with me in the future better understand this as well.

Over the past few days I’ve been hard at work at my eldest web child.. “animesynergy“. It has evolved to version 3.0.. Well actually version 3.2 to be correct.. but who’s counting decimals. Anyway along with the help of 1080eye The forum has been re-skined and now uses complete proprietory software.. from the vbulletin / photobust / vbgeek lot (ALL PAID FOR). I spent so much on web applications out of my last salary i’m wondering if i’m crazing seeing that i’m a huge opensource advocate. however vbulletin rocks. integration rocks. user based web software rocks and to get everyting exactly how i wanted it to function.. it had to come with a price.. so i did what was needed.

the first launch of version 3 was met by glum remarks.. “where is the black and gold look, we want it back”. The name of this game is try to make the end user smile while not running your entity into the ground. So after about a week. We decided new theme. I mapped out the logic of what i wanted, dished it to the local forum gfx Guru and tada i woke up int he morning to see a pimping naruto / sasuke shipuuden theme ont he forum. all was great everybody loved it. Night two i went to bed saying wow this is great. woke up in the morning BAM a new theme again with the same color scheme that they love so much. Death Note. after seeing this i got to work immediately on getting the images to rotate in sets for after mapping out the logic to do this.. i tried and failed. till i started talking to my self.. and cussing out vbulletin about how they got me doing somethign thats soo simple in a super difficult way.. anyway the logn and short is i had to write my own custom plugin for vbulletin to get what i wanted. and now all is well with the forum. the users are happy. the designer is satisfied with his work. the coder is satisfied with his rotation plugin. Morale is up. Registration is up, form activity is up.. and I really hope we can keep it this way.
