Final Fantasy VII Advent Children was such a bad ass movie, I can’t help but wanna see Final Fantasy stuff every where. I wish I could get posters for my room. I used most of yesterday making wallpapers with my favorite characters, Cloud and Tifa here’s one that I did. I haven’t found any good pics of Vincent as yet. Anyway here’s one that I did.

I’m not too excited about this one though.. Its mainly anime but the auther did them in a crappy slow and boring way.. i’m not putting any on my phone but hey who know’s maybe you’ll like it.. he even managed to screw up the great Akatsuki no kuruma by fiction junction yuuka. I don’t get it.. I thought gmail was down with I.E. I remember it working with Internet explorer now every time I try accessing my gmail account from internet explorer I’m prompted to download some unknown format document from google..

Yah that’s what I’m seeing, I’m not sure as to why, I’ve got a late version of internet explorer and I’m pretty sure I used to use internet explorer with gmail before. Am I alone in this or are there others?

I’ve heard some weird things come up in conversations at times. Generally I let it slide but sometimes the person pushes it and you just gotta call em out on it. You know let em have it and brutally too.

Scenario:

I buy lunch for me and 2 other friends and we’re having lunch at the friends house. Some how Fantastic 4 the movie comes up, I started saying they should watch it, one signals that he already has, the other says no. To the one that hasnt seen it I’m like
“yo should dog its great, I’ld put it up there with my fav movies of the summer. Then again probably its because Jessica alba’s in there and everybody knows I love that girl,there was a scene with her in her bra and panties, 2 or 3 actually.”

The other guy goes
“what about Johnny storm”

The other friend and my self continue on about Jessica alba being a supremely hot girl. The other comes in again

“what about Johnny storm”

So we both pause talking eating and just stare at him. And started with hysterical laughter, I almost choked.. I’m like WTF is this dude saying. I’m talking about one of the hottest piece of ass on the planet and this dude keeps interrupting about Johnny storm. Doesn’t he have a clue how odd that seems. We teased him about that for like weeks. It was just weird..

Next Scenario:

I’m at school one day and this dude is yapping about dreamcast having cool games and some weird ones and I’m said
“yah, but I really haven’t played any that seemed weird or stupid even.”

He goes

“well there is this one that’s weird but I like it, Seamen. I love seamen”
WE ALL GET UP AND STARE THINKING WTF IS THIS KID SAYING. He’s still there yapping about how seamen is a great blah blah blah apparently not realizing how it sounds. Eventually he saw everybody’s facial reaction and thought about it. And put 2 and 2 together and started explaining its a game about some aquatic creatures that had human faces and could talk blah blah blah

I just came across a nice repository for video game midis. Pretty sweet they got a huge collection going there. Listening to the Zelda: Ocarina of time midi’s really brought back memories man. I was a proud Nintendo 64 owner showcasing Zelda: Ocarina of time as the worlds best game.. I think it things like these why I was so late in recognizing the greatness of final fantasy, I though RPG where all about Zelda styled playing.. In any event you want the midi’s go get em [video ringtones]. So many Video game ringtones you can find enough stones to throw at em Enjoy.

Firefox the pedigree of all them browser out there right… WRONG. The once champion hound of the pack is now nothing but an old flea bitten, tick infested mutt. Its really getting on my nerves, and what’s annoying me more is that this blog that I’m typing right at this exact moment is being done in firefox.
Last night after seeing firefox run up a whopping 90,000k+ worth of my physical memory i decided I needed to address the matter, “the real matter than needs addressing is my physical memory which is only 256mb :(”. My move was to install msntoolbar, which offers a tabbed browsing experience in internet explorer.. My response to msn’s futile and weak attempt to compete with the fox is. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! YOU CANT BE SERIOUS, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A JOKE. Internet explorer is more annoying to use in this manner as you have to click a button before you click a link for it to open in a new tab. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT come on bill you’ve got better developers than that I’m sure.
The new opera is nothing short of annoying. The download manager doesn’t work well. It doesn’t work well with gmail which is immediately a problem with me it wont be used. The only feature that I love from opera is that full screen browsing. That is really what full screen browsing is supposed to be like.

This morning I set up a wireless Adhoc network using my notebook (hp nx9005) and my stepfathers notebook (sony viao) both notebooks are using pcmcia wireless cards. The Hp utilzes an airvast 100 wireless card and the viao uses a Benq gprs/wlan card.
This projet which should have been completed in 5 minutes took like 15 to 20. The problems were as followed:

• Benq gprs/wireless card apparently cannot be used for wlan as long as the gprs vitual modem is installed.
• After sharing the gateway connection from the hp to the viao was always labeled ad disabled
• The viao constantly dropped the gateway connection
• I couldn’t figure out what to use as the wep keys.. thats righ digits or alpabetic characters, I wasn’t sure.. I googled and found a ms documents which really didn’t help much.. Go figure.

Solution.

• Set up the wireless network let windows choose the key for your wireless network
• Disabled security from wep [ there are no wireless uses in my community much less people with laptops lol ]
• Set the wireless network to be open.
• Run home and small office network wizard.

There is still one problem though. it keeps dropping the connection every once in a while. not sure why though.. will post solution to that as soon as I figure it out.

Murpheys laws will always prevail no matter what. After watching Final Fantasy VII Advent Children I thought “hmm its time for me to finish up those ff games that are still lingering about unfinished”. So about 30 mins ago I took out my playstation 1 2nd edition. dusted it off, unrapped the adapter and rca video jacks. pulled out the final fantasy VII cd case and popped in disk one. and then rummaged through the plastic bag to find nothing else. WHERE ARE MY CONTROLLERS. My piriana game pad I lent out cuase i wasn’t using it. but i had the oem ps1 second edition controller as well as the old playstation 1 controller, now I have none. Now i’m just here staring at the console like WTF am i supposed to do… Its just one of those things. somethings always gotta be missing. If its not a credit card its a playstation controller.
