So youtube should beging to payout to users how soon i’m unsure, for their content.. The thing is how can youtube/google verify that the content that I the user have uploaded is in fact mine.. I figure they’ll try to pass on the legal implications of the situation to the end user. Will it really work out in the end though I’m not sure.. but i’m all for it cause i got some videos up there man with killer views.. killer views int he 150k views and comments like maddd.. not videos of me of course.. any way how will google pay what will it be based on.. user impressions, views, and comments a ratio of both? subscriptions what..
This particular model was already attempted by a site called greedtube which was an exact mock up of youtubes setup with a payout system, thing is greed tube didn’t really care if the content was yours or not the uploader got the money regardless, there was no clause stating the legal problems, the really didn’t care about it.. they just wanted traffic and would share some of the funds earned from adrevenue with the end user good idea. but you failed.. youtube was gonna smash on you guys soo hard. good move on shutting up and shutting down..
This leads me to my next question can google really afford to pay all them users for their content? with Vaicom threatening them with a $1 billion dollar lawsuit for what they say is a massive intentional copyright infringement. Good luck with that google/youtube.. wish you all the best. I’m rueting for you as always cause i’m a google kiddie. after all, Google changed my life… or rather is in the process of changing my life.
