This morning I set up a wireless Adhoc network using my notebook (hp nx9005) and my stepfathers notebook (sony viao) both notebooks are using pcmcia wireless cards. The Hp utilzes an airvast 100 wireless card and the viao uses a Benq gprs/wlan card.
This projet which should have been completed in 5 minutes took like 15 to 20. The problems were as followed:

• Benq gprs/wireless card apparently cannot be used for wlan as long as the gprs vitual modem is installed.
• After sharing the gateway connection from the hp to the viao was always labeled ad disabled
• The viao constantly dropped the gateway connection
• I couldn’t figure out what to use as the wep keys.. thats righ digits or alpabetic characters, I wasn’t sure.. I googled and found a ms documents which really didn’t help much.. Go figure.

Solution.

• Set up the wireless network let windows choose the key for your wireless network
• Disabled security from wep [ there are no wireless uses in my community much less people with laptops lol ]
• Set the wireless network to be open.
• Run home and small office network wizard.

There is still one problem though. it keeps dropping the connection every once in a while. not sure why though.. will post solution to that as soon as I figure it out.

Murpheys laws will always prevail no matter what. After watching Final Fantasy VII Advent Children I thought “hmm its time for me to finish up those ff games that are still lingering about unfinished”. So about 30 mins ago I took out my playstation 1 2nd edition. dusted it off, unrapped the adapter and rca video jacks. pulled out the final fantasy VII cd case and popped in disk one. and then rummaged through the plastic bag to find nothing else. WHERE ARE MY CONTROLLERS. My piriana game pad I lent out cuase i wasn’t using it. but i had the oem ps1 second edition controller as well as the old playstation 1 controller, now I have none. Now i’m just here staring at the console like WTF am i supposed to do… Its just one of those things. somethings always gotta be missing. If its not a credit card its a playstation controller.

I remember my first time seeing one of these, i was in 4′th form in my days of a young webdeveloper when i had my site at homestead hosting. Xiao’s fight was the shitznit I’ld watch em over and over and over. I thought the hype in Macromedia flash made stick fight animations where over but how wrong was I… Very. Check this out stickpage they got the good stuff right here, the animation has stepped up by huge notches, they now have faces, eyes mouth etc, and make great facial expressions and they talk. Its really cool, i made it black to mach the template i’m working with currently. Word of advice if you do request it from me. change layer 45 to whatever color you blog is in do not make it transparent and save as a *.gif image. It will come out all jagged. and will require alot of work for you to remove the needed pixels to get it squared again.. its easier to just set the colour. However if you have the free time on your hands your free do as you wish.

Eight Legged Little Freak

Sightings like this in my house/yard Worry me. That spider was a bit too large for comfort you know what I’m saying and i saw him right after watching eight legged little freaks so you can guess the outcome of this sighting.

My little place, Well its where I am most of the time when i’m at home. I wish I had a desktop though.

Since watching an anime called Onegai Sensie/Teacher, I’ve been hooked on that particular genre or type of anime. Its really a chick flick type of thing but It grips you and before you know, your attached to the characters and you cant stop watching.. I know its scary. Genshiken has a similar effect as well.
There are quite a few anime from this genre that I have not seen, Namely,

• Ichigo 100%
• Love Hina
• Sazuka
• Full Metal Panic
• Chobits
• Onegai Twins [ I believe its a continuation of onegai teacher: I must see this, I swear it on my way of the otaku ]
• I, Me, My Strawberry eggs

Those are all I Can think of at the moment. The most ironic thing about me watching this type of anime or even wanting to watch more is, I laughed at a few friends of mine for watching these, namely blindz and malloc x. I just wanna say. Gomen nasai.

A credit card is like an appendage when it comes to online business or companies. I’m trying to build an empire without an axe to cut the trees, that I’ll need for lumber. I really need access to one before the weeks is out. Hopefully a friend of mine will come through for me.. I’m counting on you spaz.
